I am a qualified interior designer who has passion for creative design. I work with you and your space(s) to achieve stunning curtains that have the WOW factor.
I keep up with the latest and trends locally and internationally and sometimes set them I don’t have to maintain a high street store so I don’t charge high street prices. I offer a full range of textiles at very competitive prices.
A local and experienced curtain company makes all my curtains; I will oversee each project, paying great attention to the detail of the design.
My main focus is to take each room into consideration and ensure that the window-furnishings interpret your homes style and are achieved within your budget.
THE PROCESS
COLLECTING THE BRIEF
The brief is made up of a number of components, which are necessary to relate your expectations to me the designer. It allows me to establish a clear scope of work and design considerations.
Firstly I will meet with you in your home for FREE to discuss the brief. I will guide you through preparing the brief. Some of the things you can expect to discuss will be:
* Style of window furnishings
* Colour of fabrics to suit your existing / new home.
* Budget
* Lead times for installing the curtains
I will also give you a rough idea of fabric and curtain making costs.
CONCEPT & DESIGN
Having achieved a firm design brief, I will then put together a fixed price quote for finding the right window fabrics, taking into consideration things such as existing / new furniture, interior colour scheme, personal style and other applicable factors. Once the quote is approved. I will then start gathering relevant fabrics from the textile library in Wellington and bring them to your home for approval. The turn around for this process is around a week.
COSTS
Once we have found the perfect materials for your window treatments. I then give you a fixed price quote for the curtains and lead times for the installation, typical 2 weeks.
INSTALLATION
A deposit is taken. The curtains are made and installed. I will oversee this process and make sure that you are happy with the installation.
I present a vast and unique selection of fabric, using my creative talent to help you select the fabric best suited to enhance the homes decor and furniture.
